Merna has been painting for several years. Her latest creation is fashion pins. Although it started as a hobby it quickly became popular with family and friends. She starts with a special mixture of gypsum that provides strength and adherence of paint. The detail she puts into each piece is remarkable, from the varied colors of  the sunset to the unique expressions on her creatures. Her themes are varied too- sailing, flowers, pets and scenes all are miniature replicas of the real thing. Her pins come in small 1 3/4" and large 2 1/4".
